As she viewed it, fritter awayy was non an fetch up in itself, further a means of exploring the world so as to improve it. Dorothea Lange captured the cloggy successions of one of these families during the cope of the Great Depression in her photograph Migrant Mother. The photograph appearings a family in poverty, but it in like manner shows the determination of a mother to do her best to care for her children and to keep chip through the difficult times.\nThe entitle of the photograph depicts the woman as a migrant worker. There is so much more revolve about on shadow and erupt instead of the distraction of all the different colors. The light line of descent seems to be coming from in front of the mother. Her face is the lightest which makes her the starting line thing we see when tone at this image.\nThe familys clothes helps show their level of income during this time. The mother wears a gray shirt with part off sleeves. The baby lies engrossed in a covering fire that seems to be very dirty. The clothing on the other children appears to be dirty as well. It in any case appears to be too capacious for the children. The mother and children do not seem to switch showered for a while; the dirt roughly the babys mouth and the dirt on the childrens hands hurt this greatly.\nThe setting behind the family also shows their poverty level.
